In terms of our journey from fiction to reality, this was a pretty huge day.

The incredible Elfyn has been my singing (and ukulele and guitar) teacher for a bunch of years now.

And today, she held her first student recital.

Which meant I got to play my own music live on stage for the first time!

I played Breakfast in Bathrobes and Girl of my dreams… And apparently, this is how I look when I solo…

I may have gone overboard and started this very first live gig with an on-stage, in-performance costume change… Because of course I did.
